Mildura and District Little Athletics Centre hold weekly competitions on Sunday mornings at 8:45 am, from October through to March. Tiny Tots complete a general athletic movement skill program. Under 6 and Under 7 compete in a 3 week rotation program.

Centre Uniform It is compulsory to wear the correct centre uniform wear whilst competing. Please ensure that athlete identification chest plates and sponsors badges are sewed onto the correct shirt position. See registrar for assistance if you are unsure about requirements.

Tiny Tots Uniform: Yellow polo shirt, black shorts (no logo’s) hat, runners.

Under 6 to Under 17 Uniform: MDLA Centre sublimated polo shirt and black shorts, with the chest plate also to be worn. Shirts are supplied with registration. Children MUST wear appropriate running shoes at all times.

Hats and sunscreen are part of our Sun Protection Policy.

Our Centre is part of the North East Country Region. Regional Championships for all ages are held in November. Under 9 to Under 17 age group competitors who have met qualifying standards on 2 occasions during normal season competition are then eligible to compete in the State Track and Field Championships in March in Adelaide. To be eligible, athletes must have competed in 50% of available normal Centre Meetings.

End of Season Presentations
Trophies and medals are awarded to all children at our AGM who attend 50% of offered Centre competition before the Christmas break and 50% of offered Centre competition after the Christmas break. Please note that point scoring for trophies will not occur until an athlete is a financial member.

CHRISTOPHER SMITH AWARD

This award is presented in Memory of Christopher Smith.

Christopher was a Member of Sunraysia Little Athletics (Mildura & District Little Athletics) who loved his sports and with the support of his family, our Centre honours Christopher with this Award.
